Our project is to obtain the original seven acres of land and resurrect the Cam Ranh City Orphanage to help the children in need.  The new facilities must provide enough space for the following:  dormitories, classrooms, a dining hall and kitchen, a clinic, a worship center, playgrounds, and an administrative building.  In addition, the surrounding acres must be prepared for farming and raising animals, with storage facilities, and food/supplies.  We believe that this will help the children grow within the cultural economy.  This orphanage once changed over one hundred orphan lives, each of them now living in America.

    The seven acre site is still unused by the government.  Negotiations with the new government are beginning.

    CamRanhOrphan’s long-term objectives include establishing “lifeline” resources to build as many orphanages that are needed to support the homeless children with programs for adoption in the U.S.  Our goal includes creating partnerships with Vietnam’s local businesses and outreach programs to contribute and become involved in the wellness of Vietnam’s children.  Our goal also includes helping these children gain a better chance in life, and to grow up to have a positive impact on the world around them.

    Future projects and programs will include extending help to the neighboring countries of Vietnam, including Cambodia, Laos, the Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand, and China.

    CamRanhOrphan’s vision will be realized through partnerships with corporate sponsors, private companies, individuals, Vietnam Veterans affiliations, foundations, clubs, and grants.  Contributions and donations are needed in ALL areas.  We are searching for contributions of funds, products, services, time, expertise, and talents to the orphans in Vietnam.
